A Road to Prosperity
Lu Fan, a city contractor, agreed to personally fund a road for his hometown, Lujia Village. Villagers' false reports led to his arrest, but he was cleared. Encouraged by his friend Chen Hao and Taoyuan Village chief Xiao Xiao, he chose to build roads for Taoyuan Village instead.
