Mystery of the Abandoned Mansion

Cao Xun is an obscure short video director who overnight becomes famous for adapting a murder case from fifteen years ago. To maintain the buzz, he takes his team to the crime scene - the abandoned mansion - for a live exploration. During the live stream, strange occurrences frequently happen, and the terrifying atmosphere combined with the mysterious deaths of people in the live stream keeps the viewership skyrocketing. Cao Xun is very pleased with the live stream results because these are all meticulously planned by his team. However, as time goes on, real members of the team start dying under mysterious circumstances, and the mansion becomes inexplicably sealed. This time it’s not part of the script - the new intern, Qiao Mu, is the sister of the murderer from the case. Cao Xun, only caring about views, fabricates the truth of the murder case, which ruins Qiao Mu’s life. So Qiao Mu joins forces with several friends to set a trap to make Cao Xun realize the seriousness of the situation. After this incident, Cao Xun suddenly comes to his senses, takes down the video and publicly apologizes. Qiao Mu also lets go of the past and starts a new life.
