In the 1990s, Qin Yang wins the Jade King title but is betrayed by his apprentice. Left for dead on a snowy night, he is saved by jade shop owner Liu Qing. To repay her, he uses his skills to boost her business, drawing jealousy and repeated provocations from rivals.
